Regular massage improves overall wellness. A child who is less stressed, pain-free, relaxed, and loose and sleeps well, will be a better athlete. The overall objective of a maintenance program is to help the athlete reach optimal performance through injury-free training. Regular massage also gives a therapist a chance to find unique trouble spots, perhaps from past injuries.
Remember parents, massage therapy is not a luxury; it can play an important role in keeping your athletes body balanced and healthy.
